A study published in the journal Integrative Cancer Therapies determines whether an integrated exercise, diet, and health program could increase physical activity for women with breast cancer. The study consisted of 24 combined aerobic and strength training classes, as well as nutrition and health education classes. The students were 48 women who were undergoing treatment or had recently completed it.

Physical activity has been shown to improve the health of women with breast cancer, but few patients achieve a sufficient level of activity.
